Strengths
Lisbon, Ohio has the comfort of a small town with most of its residents living in the village their entire lives. They are a close knit community that really supports and reaches out to lend a helping hand to each other. Most of their population has at least a high school diploma or GED and a decent amount hold some higher educational achievements.
Weaknesses
The poverty level and unemployment level in Lisbon is high compared to the Ohio and national average, while its median earnings for males and females are significantly lower than the average. They lack a diverse culture, with most of their population being Caucasian and a large German ethnic group. Cardiac disease was the major cause of death for the residents of Lisbon recording almost one third of annual deaths.
