Transportation
For the most part, automobiles are the most common means of transportation in Lisbon, there are one to two cars per household. Though, there are many sidewalks all over Lisbon for those who chose to walk. There are no designated bike routes throughout the village, but there is a bike/walking trail that starts in Lisbon and goes to different areas of Columbiana County.
State Routes
- SR 164: Bisects the Village from North to South. North portion travels through Columbiana, Ohio to North Lima, Ohio, the South portion travels toward Salineville, Ohio and the southern most parts of the county. Both portions are in good condition.
- SR 517: Enters the Village from the Northeast, gives access toward PA. Road condition is fair
- SR 45: Enters the Village from the Northwest and continues through the center and proceeds to merge with US 30. Road condition fair.
- SR 154: Enters the Village from the East giving access to PA. Road condition is fair.
- SR 11: Runs along the Eastern side of Lisbon, accessible via SR 164, SR 45, and SR 154. In good condition, in the process of repairs
- US 30: Bisects the Village from East to West. Road condition is good.
- Many county roads intersect and feed the State Routes as well as the United State Route. Conditions are good to fair, mostly chip & sealed, some with potholes.
- Roads within the Village of Lisbon are in poor condition, many potholes throughout the Village. Some patching evident, county just freshly paved one road over the summer for the Village.

Strengths
One of the greatest strengths in Lisbon for transportation is the fact that there is not one, but two headquarter locations for state and county road maintenance. This allows the transportation in and out of Lisbon to be clear when road conditions are poor. CARTS is accessible for those who are disabled or unable to drive themselves.
Weaknesses
There are many potholes and poor road conditions throughout the streets of Lisbon. This causes issues with ease of transportation and can cause many damages to locals cars. Potholes also pose a problem when weather accumulates in the holes, making them slick or unable to be seen. There are no taxi or bus services in Lisbon and though there is CARTS, it does not run 24/7 and it will not leave Columbiana County. Also some of the sidewalk conditions are poor, making it difficult for those who use wheelchairs or walkers to commute.
